✅ Regular Use and Setup

Inspect the fabric cover, ropes, stitching, and wooden spreader bars before each use.

Hang so the hammock sits open and supportive, never overly tight or flat.

Keep clear of rough walls, sharp edges, or abrasive surfaces.

Remove shoes, belts, jewellery, or items that may snag the fabric.

Use only approved hanging systems suitable for the hammock’s load capacity.

Metal eyelets: this hammock has durable metal end eyelets.

Always connect them to smooth hardware such as a carabiner, metal ring, or hammock hook.

Avoid rope rubbing directly against the metal eyelet to prevent rope wear.

🧼 Cleaning

Agora is a premium outdoor fabric with high resistance to stains, mould, mildew, oil, and fading.

Everyday cleaning

Brush off loose dirt with a soft brush.

Lightly vacuum dust or pollen.

Wipe spills with mild soapy water.

Rinse lightly and air dry.

General cleaning

Use lukewarm water with mild detergent.

Gently scrub with a soft brush or cloth.

Rinse thoroughly.

Air dry fully in a shaded, ventilated area.

Deep cleaning

Removable covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees.

Do not tumble dry.

Do not bleach.

Allow to air dry naturally.

Inner cushion

The cushion is not removable, but is fully water repellent and fast drying.

If it becomes wet:

Shake out excess water.

Stand upright and allow to dry in shade until fully dry.

Do not soak or submerge the inner cushion.

🌧 Weather and Storage Care

Agora outdoor fabric is extremely weather resistant, but correct storage extends lifespan.

Safe for outdoor use, but best stored under cover during long wet periods.

Bring indoors during frost, prolonged damp, or winter months.

💨 Avoid leaving out in strong winds — the padded body and spreader bars catch wind easily.

Always ensure the hammock and cushion are completely dry before storage.

Store in a breathable fabric bag, never sealed plastic.

Avoid conservatories, greenhouses, or windowed sheds due to slow UV fade from indirect sunlight.

Protect from rodents by storing inside a sealed, rodent proof plastic container.
