Wooden Hammock Stand Manual • 2-Year Warranty • Made in Poland using FSC®-certified wood • Laminated spruce and larch wood (weather-resistant) Care Instructions – Dos and Don’ts for Wooden Hammock Stands: ■ Store furniture indoors during winter or long wet periods. ■ Cover furniture with a breathable, water-resistant cover when not in use. ■ Elevate the legs slightly to avoid prolonged contact with damp ground. ■ Place on a solid, dry surface to minimise water exposure. ■ Dry the stand with a cloth after rain to avoid water absorption. ■ Clean regularly using a soft cloth and mild soapy water. ■ Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent moisture buildup. ■ Wipe away dirt, pollen, and bird droppings promptly to avoid staining. ■ Apply outdoor wood oil or protective wood treatment once or twice per year. ■ Sand lightly (using fine-grit sandpaper) before re-oiling if the surface starts to feel rough. ■ Tighten bolts and check fittings regularly to ensure stability. It’s normal for fixings to feel loose over time as the wood naturally expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity — remember to check and tighten them as needed. ■ Use a soft brush to gently remove debris from corners and joints. ■ Treat any small scratches or chips early with matching wood filler or oil. ■ Ensure all fittings and hanging chains are secure before each use. ■ Store in a dry, ventilated space if moving indoors (shed, garage, or conservatory). ■ Disassemble if storing long-term to reduce strain on joints. ■ Use protective feet or pads if placing on patio or decking to prevent slipping and wear. ■ Keep furniture away from direct contact with garden sprinklers or hoses. ■ Use a UV-protective wood treatment to reduce fading and cracking. ■ Position in partial shade if possible to extend life and retain colour. ■ Rotate the furniture’s position occasionally to ensure even exposure. ■ Follow assembly instructions carefully to avoid over-tightening and wood damage. ■ Use appropriate tools to avoid stripping screws or damaging laminated layers. ■ Transport in protective wrap or padding to prevent dents or scratches. ■ Keep spare bolts and fittings for future maintenance. ■ Repair minor splits or delamination early using wood glue and clamps. ■ Inspect joints and laminated edges seasonally for wear. ■ Replace parts using original manufacturer pieces when possible. Maintaining Spruce & Larch Wood (Laminated Outdoor Furniture): ■ Apply protective oil or wood stain designed for outdoor softwood at least once a year. ■ Choose breathable, oil-based finishes rather than thick varnishes. ■ Before applying treatment, clean and dry the wood thoroughly, and sand lightly if the surface has started to grey or roughen. ■ If wood has started to grey from sun exposure, use a wood brightener or gentle sanding to restore its natural tone before oiling. ■ Regularly check for signs of delamination (layers separating) — treat early with high-quality wood glue and clamps. ■ Treat ends of the wood and cut surfaces carefully — these are most vulnerable to absorbing moisture. ■ Wipe off standing water and dry damp spots after rain to reduce the risk of swelling or mildew. ■ Store in a cool, shaded area to prevent the natural oils in the wood from drying out too quickly.
