The participating schools were Darlington College, Northern School of Arts, Bishop Auckland College, and Richmond Methodist Primary School. Each school received three hammocks to create three unique designs.
The winning school was the Northern School of Arts, with a stunning pride design by student Alice. We're thrilled to be collaborating with Alice to create her own collection of pride hammocks, which if all goes to plan will be available for purchase here at Simply Hammocks.
Once the auction is over, all proceeds from the sale of these hammocks will go back to the school or a charity of their choice. This project gives students the opportunity to meet real-world demands while creating something exceptional for their CV and art portfolio.
