Over 30 years ago our founder Matthias traveled through South America in a canoe, sleeping in a hammock he made with the help of the Huaorani Indian tribe. It transformed his experience and gave him the rest he needed to travel through the dense rainforest, and avoid being bitten by the many critters that roamed the forest floors.

Returning to Germany he began to sell hammocks to his friends and family. Eventually, demand grew and now Amazonas is recognised as one of the best manufacturers of hammocks in the world with factories in South America and around Europe.

Built off of our tough, fabric Trillium Hammock, the Stealth is our most versatile, accommodating Tree Tent with a single, easily-set TriPad pole socket and three convenient, full-zip doors sewn directly into the removable bug mesh lining.

A 100%-waterproof, UV-resistant rainfly clips directly to the ratchets, and its distinct lateral wing cut keeps gear and ground dry below. When the bugs are idle and the sky is clear, the rainfly and insect mesh easily unclip and come off completely, leaving our classic three-person Trillium Hammock on which to relax or sleep under the stars. To create our most adaptable 'Stack,' set up another Trillium or Trillium XL Hammock underneath.

Everything you need to get off the ground packs neatly into a stylish, compact duffle bag including the hammock, the pole, the rainfly, the mesh, three ratchets, and three 19’ lines of flat webbing.

Vista Hacks
Extra Trillium floors can be purchased here, allowing the Vista Tree Tent to become a multi-story camping solution that can sleep three adults on each story by stacking hammocks underneath. You can have an enormous amount of living space over two, three or four extra levels - the sky's the limit! Note: The Vista roof cannot be fully sealed and is therefore not suitable for extreme weather or very heavy rain.
