Simply Hammocks had the pleasure of attending the Great Yorkshire Show 2025 for the very first time, and what an incredible experience it was! Set in the beautiful grounds of the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, this four-day event is one of the UK’s biggest agricultural and countryside showcases — and the perfect place for people to discover the comfort and charm of our hammocks and hanging chairs.
With perfect summer weather, thousands of visitors, and an unbeatable atmosphere, the event was the ideal backdrop to show off our garden hammocks, outdoor hanging chairs, and stylish hammock frames.
Why the Great Yorkshire Show Was the Perfect Fit for Simply Hammocks
This was our debut appearance at the Great Yorkshire Show, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by enthusiastic crowds, fellow exhibitors, and a fantastic team of organisers who made the whole experience seamless.
The sunshine and warm summer breeze couldn’t have been more perfect — and let’s be honest, there’s no better weather for a hammock! Our products were right at home in the show’s open-air setting, and visitors were quick to stop by, curious to test out what makes a Simply Hammocks experience so unique.

At our stand, we featured three of our bestselling products — and each one became a talking point:
🌟 Globo Hanging Chair Set
The Globo Hanging Chair was a real showstopper. With its elegant wooden frame and cocoon-like seat, it drew attention from passers by all day long. It wasn’t just a chair — it was a statement piece of garden furniture that made people say “wow”.
Visitors of all ages tried it out, but the kids absolutely loved it — many didn’t want to get out once they were in! Parents commented on how well it would suit patios, conservatories, or shaded garden corners.
🌈 Barbados Hammock
Our vibrant Barbados Hammock added a splash of tropical colour to the showground. People were drawn in by its look — and stayed for the comfort. It was a favourite for families, couples, and anyone looking to bring outdoor relaxation into their daily life. Lots of visitors told us it reminded them of being on holiday!
🪵 Olymp Hammock Frame
Not everyone has trees in their garden — and that’s where our Olymp Hammock Frame shone. This stylish, freestanding frame showed how easy it can be to enjoy a hammock anywhere. Many visitors had never seen a frame so elegant and solid, and it sparked plenty of conversations about hammocks for small gardens and modern outdoor spaces.
Visitors Loved the Experience
Throughout the show, our stand was buzzing with excitement. From people taking their first-ever hammock nap to seasoned hammock-lovers sharing stories from their travels, the energy was inspiring.
We heard dozens of people say they were surprised at how supportive and comfortable our hammocks and chairs were. Many left with new ideas for creating relaxing garden spaces, and several said they planned to place an order as soon as they got home.
There was something truly special about helping people discover the simple joy of lying back and letting the world slow down — even just for a moment.
