We want every Simply Hammocks customer to feel confident and relaxed when ordering from us. Whether you’ve changed your mind, something’s not quite right, or you’re looking to make a warranty claim — this page explains how it all works.

🛍️ Our Returns Policy

We offer a simple 14-day returns policy (click here for more details). Return costs are the customer’s responsibility unless we’ve made an error or the item is faulty. If you'd like to return an item, contact us on 01748 471 299 or hello@simplyhammocks.co.uk.

A Few Rules:

  • Extended returns available for gifts — just let us know in the NOTES section during the checkout process.
  • Provide images of product, damage, and packaging before return.
  • Ensure fixings and parts (especially for wooden frames) are included.

Collection Charges:

  • £12.00 – Hammocks, Accessories
  • £22.00 – Metal or Wooden Frames, Globo Chairs
  • £23.00 – Globo Royal Stand
  • £34.00 – Troja / Arcus
  • £32.00 – Lounge Bed

Add £10 for Northern Ireland. Add £14 for Channel Islands, Highlands, and Islands. Missed collections incur a £10 reattempt fee.

Processing Time:

Returns are typically processed within 7 days (April–September may vary).

If It's Our Fault:

  • We cover return costs for picking errors, courier damage, or warranty cases.
  • Claims for transit damage must be made within 24 hours (with photos/video).

Refunds:

  • Processed back to the original payment method
  • Refund may be adjusted if the item is damaged or unsellable

We’re proud to have a passionate, experienced team here at Simply Hammocks. We work closely with our factories and know our products inside out — so if there’s a fault, we’ll find it fast and help sort it.

Think You Have a Faulty Item?

Reach out via:

Include the following:

  • A description of the fault and how/when it occurred
  • Photos of the fault and batch stamps
  • A short video (if possible)
  • Your name, address, order number, and purchase date

⚠️ Important: Before submitting a claim, please check if your issue may relate to user misuse. If so, your claim could be declined. 

Common reasons claims are declined:

  • Overloading hammocks or frames
  • Improper use (e.g. falling in while intoxicated)
  • Leaving hammocks out in strong wind, rain, or frost
  • Using abrasive ropes or tying to sharp/hard surfaces
  • Not checking frame fixings seasonally

If you do return an item, include a note in the box with your name, order number and a brief issue summary.
