Carioca Hammock
Description
Description
What we say... THE TRADITIONALLY WOVEN HAMMOCK FROM BRAZIL!
Carioca originally refers to the inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro. The name fits so wonderfully with our Carioca hammock, as it is originally handmade in Brazil. Colourful, Brazilian and with the highest hammock comfort.
Carioca is something quite special:
Only very few looms are suitable for making a 1.75 m wide sheet. To make this giant hammock both extra sturdy and super soft at the same time, almost 6,000 threads are woven together! The unique Jacquard weaving technique used calls for a special kind of loom. This makes the woven material exceptionally soft and comfortable.
We connect the extra-thick cords again here by hand with a woven band so that concentrated loads are compensated for, giving the hammock a very long operational life.

Let customers speak for us
This was my first hammock. And I am still using and abusing it 😂
It’s super strong, light weight. It’s survived heigh winds, accidental 50°c washing machine adventure, and it’s provided me some epic moments in the wild and wonderful.
A must have!!
Very pleased with my purchase, it arrived next day, and was put to immediate use.nice material and well made.
Our 2nd hammock after 20 years ( the first was identical and we loved it so much we just wanted the same again) . Very sturdy and a relaxing place to chill out. Perfect
This is our second one of these. The first lasted four years and would have lived longer had we treated it better and not left it out in all sorts of weather when we weren’t using it. At that time we also bought the frame, which is still going strong having had a rub down and some varnish.
Ordering on the website was a breeze and the folks were wonderful in communicating each step of progress after they received the order.
Quick delivery and in perfect condition. Here’s to at least another four years of use.
Thoroughly recommended.
The chair, stand, and pillows are quality items (not to mention really beautiful). There was some confusion with shipping the three items, but customer service was easy to work with and corrected the issue quickly and professionally. Excellent purchase and great company to do business with!
