The Globo Royal Stand is made from spruce, which is weatherproofed by treating it in a dipping bath. The metal fixings are weatherproofed also as they have been galvanised. The Stand was developed especially for our ball frame ‘Globo Royal Chair ’ (available separately)
AMAZONAS uses wood from sustainable European state forests for the manufacture of their products. These forests are managed using the criteria of the Forest Steward Council (FSC) as a guideline.
AMAZONAS stands like this one are produced from high quality spruce (or larch) wood. They are all subjected to a bath impregnation process which gives the wood a green/olive hue and protects the wood from weathering, insects and fungi - thus prolonging the life of the stand.
